Friendly, Local Medicare Guidance
“Medicare comes with new terms, important deadlines and more choices than many people expect. I help you understand how Medicare works, compare the options available to you and make a decision based on your doctors, prescriptions, healthcare needs and budget.”
Medicare Doesn’t Have to Feel Complicated
You may be turning 65, retiring after age 65, reviewing existing coverage or helping a parent understand Medicare. Whatever brings you here, our first job is to listen. We explain your choices in plain language, answer your questions and help you compare available plans without rushing you into a decision.
Understand Your Medicare Options
Original Medicare
Original Medicare includes Part A for hospital coverage and Part B for medical coverage. It provides a foundation, but it does not cover every healthcare expense. Many beneficiaries consider additional coverage for costs and services not fully covered by Original Medicare.
Prescription drug plans differ in the medications they cover, preferred pharmacies and estimated annual costs. We can help you consider more than the monthly premium by reviewing how a plan covers your prescriptions.
Part D Drug Coverage
Moving can affect plan availability and may create a Special Enrollment Period. We help new Northwest Arkansas residents understand the plans available in their new service area.
Moving to Northwest Arkansas
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. They provide Part A and Part B benefits and may include prescription drug coverage and additional benefits. Provider networks, costs, benefits and service areas vary by plan.

Who We Help
Turning 65
We can help you understand when to enroll, what decisions you need to make and how employer coverage or Social Security may affect your timeline.
Retiring After 65
Leaving employer coverage can create important Medicare enrollment deadlines. We can help you prepare for the transition and understand your coverage choices.
Medicare Supplement policies, also called Medigap, work alongside Original Medicare and can help pay certain out-of-pocket costs. These policies do not generally include prescription drug coverage, so a separate Part D plan may also be needed.
Medicare Supplement Insurance
Plans and personal needs can change. A review can help you determine whether your current coverage continues to fit your doctors, prescriptions and budget.
Reviewing Current Coverage
Medicare Questions We Frequently Hear…
When should I begin learning about Medicare?
It is helpful to begin several months before turning 65 or leaving employer coverage. Starting early gives you time to understand your enrollment period and compare options without feeling rushed.
That depends on the coverage you select. Provider participation can vary by plan, so checking your preferred doctors and facilities is an important part of comparing options.
Can I keep my doctors?
Can you review my current Medicare coverage?
Yes. We can help you review your current coverage during an applicable enrollment period and explain other options that may be available.
Is Medicare Advantage the same as a Medicare Supplement?
No. Medicare Advantage is an alternative way to receive your Medicare benefits through a private plan. Medicare Supplement coverage works with Original Medicare. The costs, networks and way you receive care differ.
Should I choose a plan based on the premium alone?
Premium is important, but it is only one consideration. Provider networks, prescription costs, deductibles, copayments, maximum out-of-pocket limits and coverage rules may also affect your total experience.
